An original album celebrating the 20th anniversary of No Name Horses with new members.
No Name Horses is a big band of 15 members formed in 2005 at the invitation of pianist Makoto Ozone, who continues to be active on a global scale, transcending genres.
The members, including Eric Miyashiro and Eijiro Nakagawa, are all jazz musicians who are also leaders of their own bands and active in various scenes.
The band has released six albums to date. The band has grown into a one-of-a-kind big band with a sophisticated ensemble based on a long-standing relationship of trust, a variety of original compositions by members led by Ozone, and an endlessly creative and playful spirit. The band has performed not only in Japan but also overseas.
The band's first new album in five years, recorded under a new structure with three new members (Hidetaro Matsui, Yu Riku and Shinpei Ogawa), was released in 2025.
The album was produced with the concept of returning to the royal road of big band music and creating the most comfortable swing and resonance, with each member bringing a new song to the album.
