Ulrich Troyer, who has been creating music for over 20 years in a genre-free framework, is guided by the aesthetics of dub, employing sound manipulation, spatial effects, reverb, and echo. His new album, TRANSIT TRIBE, is a synthesis of modern musical experiments, incorporating African motifs, psychedelic folk, electronics, and dub.

The album features international musicians, including Osman Murat Ertel (electric saz, theremin), Mamadou Diabate (balafon, talking drum), Reinhilde Gamper (zither), Susanna Gartmayer (bass clarinet), Diggory Kenrick (flute), Hamidou Koita (calabash, vocals), Lukas Lauermann (cello), Martin Mallaun (zither), Flip Philipp (vibraphone), Wolfgang Pfistermüller (trombone), Roger Robinson (poet), and Kwame Yeboah (keyboards).

The album blends organic live drums, dub effects, and rare instruments such as the electric saz, balafon, zither, trombone, and modular synthesizers, creating a unique "dub of the future."
