Glåsbird - Fenscapes (2024)

Glåsbird is a project by British composer Harry Towell, who also owns the ambient music label Whitelabrecs. Started in 2018, the project included a series of 8 albums called "A Sonic Expedition," dedicated to remote geographical locations such as Greenland and Siberia. In early 2024, Harry revealed that he was the creator of Glåsbird and released a new album, "Fenscapes," inspired by his native South Lincolnshire fens. Harry explored the local fens—quiet and flat lands with unique nature, and the album became a reflection of these landscapes. The artwork for the album was created using natural materials, and the release was the first vinyl edition on Whitelabrecs, with a run of 100 copies.
