Guglielmo Santimone, Francesco Bordignon, Edoardo Battaglia - Qui e ora (2024) [Hi-Res]

Three musicians of the very latest generation, all from Siena Jazz, the Academy where they were musically formed and where they developed their mutual artistic affinities. For Santimone, the dimension of the classical piano trio is the most congenial for expressing his vocation for contemporary jazz with a clear post-bop matrix, which is expressed through a repertoire mainly composed of original pieces and the reinterpretation of standards from the overseas jazz tradition, all with a modern slant in which the aesthetic influences of Brazilian musical culture are highlighted.
