Oan Kim & The Dirty Jazz - Soft Revolution (2024) [Hi-Res]

Oan Kim, a French-Korean saxophonist, singer, photographer, and director, presents the new single "Rise" from his upcoming EP "Soft Revolution," set to release on November 29th on Artwork Records. Oan's music videos, inspired by the magical world of Miyazaki, immerse the viewer in surreal childhood fantasies. He is joined in the work on this new EP by guitarist Benoit Perraudeau, keyboardist Dany Lavital, double bassist Paul Herry-Pasmanian, and drummer Simon Lemonnier.

Oan Kim has an educational background in fine arts and music, which is reflected in both his musical projects, such as "Oan Kim And The Dirty Jazz," and his artistic photography, exhibited in Paris, New York, and Seoul. His music combines jazz, folk, indie rock, and electronic elements, often balancing between emotion and formal clarity, striving to express the full depth of human emotions, including melancholy and sadness.
