This year marks the 20th anniversary of her solo debut, and as a singer who continues to work energetically with a best album release, live tours, and collaborations with various artists, Asako Toki has released her first original album in about three years, "Lonely Ghost". She teamed up with sound producer Tomiyo for the first time in about five years and produced all the songs on the album together. The discomfort lurking in everyday life, the inexplicable things we encounter in our lives, are all expressed in one album, calling them "mysteries". The strange and bizarre lives of humans, who constantly go back and forth between the ordinary and the extraordinary, are depicted in a refreshingly lonely and sparkling way.
