Walid Ben Selim - Here and Now (Live at City Club) (2024) [Hi-Res]

Moroccan singer and composer Oualid Ben Selim has released his album "Here and Now," which combines ancient Sufi poetry with contemporary melodies to create a tribute to love. Teaming up with harpist Marie-Marguerite Cano, Ben Selim performs works by poets Ibn Zeidoun and Rumi, recorded live at a theater in Switzerland. The album is not just music but a reflection of the artist's soul, delving into themes of love and the spiritual journey that resonate throughout time. Ben Selim, who was born in Casablanca and has resided in France for the past twenty years, is also the co-founder of the band N3rdistan and has worked with prestigious institutions such as the Scene national in Sete and the Opéra de Montpellier. With the release of this album, Ben Selim is launching his own label dedicated to promoting artists who aim to enrich the world through their music.
