Sérgio Pererê - Samba de Preto Velho (2024)

Sérgio Pererê, a renowned representative of Afro-Minas Gerais music, has released his first album entirely dedicated to samba, titled Samba de Preto Velho.
This is his fourth album released in 2024, following Canções de Outono, Sérgio Pererê e Bloco Oficina Tambolelê, and Bentu.
The album features 12 original compositions, encompassing various subgenres of samba and blending Afro-Brazilian influences such as maracatu, jongo, and umbanda.
The album's launch will take place on December 31 at a free concert in the Glória neighborhood of Belo Horizonte.
