The Crests - The Crests Sing All Biggies (2015)

The Crests, a mixed black-white group formed around white doo-wop singer Johnny Maestro, are best known for their hit "Sixteen Candles," which reached No. 2 in the U.S. in 1959. The song is one of the top five doo-wop songs of all time, and was also used in the movie "American Graffiti," a romantic ballad masterpiece. The album was released on the Chord label and is now available on CD with 8 bonus tracks that fans should not miss.
