"Assembly" is a collaborative project by Norwegian musicians Emil Brattested and Morten Røsbak, released on January 10, 2025. The album deconstructs and reimagines the duo format, exploring intricate musical "incidents" through original compositions. Recorded at Tou Lyd and Borger Withs gate 4, the album features Brattested on guitar, pedal steel guitar, saxophone, and double bass, and Røsbak on piano, synthesizer, electronics, and sound design. The track "Mark Zero" includes contributions from Tobias Ørnes Andersen. Mixed by Stian Hansen and mastered by Zino Mikorey, "Assembly" showcases the duo's innovative approach to music, offering new perspectives and unexpected turns within their compositions.
