Staphanie Lottermoser was born in Wolfratshausen, Bavaria, in 1983 and currently lives and works in Hamburg.
In her music and on her six solo albums to date, she tells stories about society, people and situations, often in a very personal way, as a saxophonist, singer and composer. She composes and arranges her music herself and is the producer of the latest album IN-DEPENDENCE. Being close to the audience is always very important to her and she manages to create an intimate atmosphere both on club stages and at large festivals, leading the listeners into her musical world. In doing so, she has always remained true to herself and her own artistic and personal development, consistently and beyond musical trends and expectations. Her love for soul jazz and groove music is always clearly audible, but her sound goes far beyond this and always shows her roots in traditional jazz and her search for something new.
Today, she is one of the best-known jazz artists in Germany, having played successful club and festival concerts for years. In 2022, he opened the ELBJAZZ Festival main stage to around 11,000 jazz fans and was invited to international concerts in England, France, South India, Mexico, the Dominican Republic and several times to Africa (Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenya).
"Stephanie Lottermoser chose the title of her current album "This Time". Because this time, one thing is certain: nothing stands in the way of a major international breakthrough. Everything has been done well: excellent compositions, captivating beats, sensitive lyrics, a fantastic producer on board, and excellent accompanying musicians. The ten songs take place in the vast and inspiring area between jazz and pop. It has been a long journey to this magnum opus, constantly looking ahead. And now the characteristic, but above all extremely talented musician from the quiet Upper Bavarian town of Wolfratshausen has definitely achieved her goal with the masterpiece "This Time". This recording is the 34-year-old artist's fourth work. "Perhaps the most important change compared to her predecessors," explains Stephanie: "This is the first record where a 'real' producer was also on board." This is the "Grammy" nominated multi-instrumentalist Steve Greenwell, who has a studio named after him in Asbury Park near New York and has already worked with celebrities such as Joss Stone, Diane Birch and James Maddock.
