The debut album Atthomis by Mitch Keely (five-string fiddle) and Saul Bailey (melodeon) is inspired by 17th-century English dance tunes from John Playford’s collection. The album blends rare dance melodies with original compositions, including the powerful The Grey Man / Parson Upon Page and the atmospheric Queen Oak / King Oak. This confident and vibrant work proves that the English folk tradition is in safe hands.
