Fabienne Ambuehl - Thrive (2025) [Hi-Res]

Fabienne Ambuehl is a Swiss pianist, singer and composer based in London. Her lyrical jazz takes the listener from the calm of mountain landscapes deep into the buzz of city life. The compositions have a striking energy and dynamism, while also painting details with a subtle brush. Ambuehl’s vocals sweep across wide emotional terrain, using her own lyrics as well as poems by Emily Dickinson, D.H. Lawrence and others.

A group of her favourite musicians have helped bring this project to fruition, both in the recording studio and live on stage. Together, they celebrate the release of the new album Thrive on Ubuntu Music. Ambuehl says "‘Thrive’ is an invitation to be more present within the little moments in life, undistracted. Although the music is rooted in jazz, influenced by folk, and plays with the lyrical aspects of Romantic music, I hope that it can speak for itself.
