Gloria Jones - Come Go With Me (Bonus Tracks) (2017)

"Come Go with Me" is Gloria Jones' debut studio album, released in 1966 in both mono and stereo versions under the slogan "The New 'Heartbeat' Sound That Never Quits." During this period, producer Ed Cobb collaborated with Jones on notable tracks such as "Tainted Love" and "My Bad Boy's Coming Home." These songs were later featured on her 1982 album "Reunited," again produced by Cobb.

Competent but unexceptional commercial mid-'60s soul with a strong, brassy Motown flavor. Jones was clearly a powerhouse singer but wasn't getting the material her talents deserved. "Heartbeat," by far the best track on the album, was reissued in better company in Rhino's Soul Shots series.
