Belgian saxophonist Robin Verheyen, known for his project TaxiWars with Tom Barman, returns with a new trio featuring legends of the New York jazz scene: bassist Drew Gress (John Zorn, Fred Hersch) and drummer Billy Hart (Miles Davis, Pharoah Sanders). Verheyen, who has been living in New York since 2007, previously performed at AB in 2010 and 2016 with his quartet. The trio's new album *Liftoff*, inspired by the music of Wayne Shorter, includes the single *Soul Searching*, dedicated to finding love and meeting a soulmate.
