Merseyside (UK) band formed March 1974, originally called New Attraction and later changed their name to Jax for one final single.
A cute and solid British rock & roll band that had a mega hit Sunday in the mid-seventies, and then the guys became huge stars in Japan, where they toured extensively throughout the seventies. Because they were very young, they had to drop out of school after signing a contract with RCA, and the concert tour also threw them to Australia and the Philippines, where they were also very famous. When they returned to their native England, time ran over them, so they remained stars only in Japan. Anyway, on this their first real album, in addition to the song Sunday, there are a whole bunch of very listenable songs, as well as a solid remake of Stephenwolf's hit Born To Be Wild. A cute album by a cute band that could also be called a teenage version of The Beatles with a specific pinch of The Beach Boys added to them.
