Surprisingly great and funky album that brings together old funksters like Fred Wesley and Pee Wee Ellis – but does it right by putting them under the production talents of David Matthews, who had a hand in so many funky tracks from the 70's. Recorded in Japan, with excellent sound, and a feel that's waaay more authentic than any of the other comback albums that the JBs have recorded. Hard choppy funk, with covers of "It's a New Day" and "Africa, Center of The World", plus lots of good originals.
