David Darling - Relaxing Cello (2024)

American composer and cellist David Darling (1941–2021) blended jazz, classical music, and electronic music. Darling recorded numerous albums, including *Cycles* (1982), *Cello* (1992), *Dark Wood* (1995), *Gratitude* (2016), and *Homage to Kindness* (2019). In 2010, he won a Grammy Award for the album *Prayer for Compassion* (2009). The composer created music for films and taught in educational programs. He passed away at the age of 79 in Goshen, Connecticut.
