Gus Englehorn - The Hornbook (2025) [Hi-Res]

Gus Englehorn, a former pro snowboarder turned psych-pop visionary, is set to release his third album, *The Hornbook*, on January 31, 2025, via Secret City Records. Known for his whimsical, genre-bending soundscapes, Englehorn’s new album blends the entire history of 20th-century rock—drawing from ‘50s golden oldies, ‘60s garage, ‘70s glam, ‘80s indie, and ‘90s lo-fi—to create a futuristic, otherworldly experience.

Co-produced by Mark Lawson (Arcade Fire, Timbre Timbre) and mixed by Paul Leary (Butthole Surfers), *The Hornbook* follows Englehorn’s acclaimed 2022 album *Dungeon Master*, which showcased his balance between DIY experimentation and expansive storytelling. Englehorn remains a singular force in music, transforming personal fables into eccentric, imaginative sonic journeys.
