Geoff Muldaur - Sleepy Man Blues (2016)

The Japanese Prestige release, issued on vinyl in the U.S. in 1963, showcases the early work of young Geoff Muldaur (he was 18–20 years old at the time). The album is filled with a raw blues atmosphere, where Muldaur borrows the vibrato of Sleepy John Estes and interprets works by blues legends. Guitarist and singer Geoff Muldaur was one of the leading figures in the Boston folk music community during the 1960s.
