Rebecca Martin is a New York-based singer, songwriter, and community organizer known for her introspective, minimalist approach to music. She began her career in the jazz-pop duo Once Blue, touring with artists such as Emmylou Harris and Squeeze, before launching a successful solo career that earned critical acclaim. Over the years, she has collaborated with Guillermo Klein, Paul Motian, and Larry Grenadier.

Her latest album, SHE (2024), is her first entirely solo project, featuring 13 concise, poetic songs recorded in Portugal. This release marks her return to original compositions for the first time since 2013’s Twain, blending voice and acoustic guitar to create a contemplative, immersive sound that explores themes of identity, transformation, and time.
