Mohamed Abozekry - Roh El Fouad (2024) [Hi-Res]

Born in Cairo in 1991, Music composer, Oud virtuoso and singer.

After having had a big recognition at a young age in the Middle East, Mohamed decided to take an alternative path to dig further by continuing his music education in classical music composition. Therefore, he moved to France at eighteen, and that’s where his career as an artist started internationally.

Abozekry makes part of these musicians who left early their hometown and got adopted in Europe (France) at a very young age. The battle of being back and forth between France and Egypt created a big door of inspiration for his work. So many artists met on his path, collaborations between jazz bands, gypsy, classic orchestras and Electronic artists.

Pursuing his love of cinema and music composition, Mohamed obtained a master's degree in film music(MAAAV) at Lyon II in 2019. He has scored short films and TV series such as"Maktoub Akaya" (K Media) 2022, "Balto" (Watch it), and "Omar Affendi" (Shahid).

Released 5 albums. Today Abozekry dedicates a big part of his work on film scoring, and performs extensively overseas with his two new projects. His latest album, "Roh El Fouad - Âme de Coeur" was released in April 2024.
