Andreas Ulvo - Vindall (2025) [Hi-Res]

Andreas Ulvo’s commissioned work *Vindall* debuted at Vossajazz 2022, inspired by poet Hans Børli. The title, a dialect word meaning “windy,” reflects the piece’s fresh and diverse musical influences. Featuring an unconventional mix of jazz, folk, and classical elements, the composition incorporates baroque harp, hardingfele, and cello, creating unique textures.

Originally a one-time performance, *Vindall* was recorded at Rainbow Studio in 2023, ensuring its legacy. The ensemble, including Ulvo on piano, Helga Myhr (hardingfele, vocals), and others, will present the music again at Victoria, promising an evocative and immersive experience.
