Chouk Bwa & The Ångströmers - Live at Cafe Oto (Live) (2025) [Hi-Res]

Chouk Bwa Libète, a Haitian band deeply rooted in vodou traditions, has been collaborating with The Ångströmers, a radical electronic duo from Brussels, since 2016. Their goal is a true fusion of Haitian trance rhythms and dub-influenced electronic textures, avoiding drum machines to preserve organic rhythmic freedom.

Their debut album Vodou Ale (2020) was praised for its powerful, visceral sound, and their follow-up, Somanti (2023), deepened the collaboration. The new release, Live at Cafe Oto, captures a 2023 London performance, showcasing the project's spiritual, intense, and liberating live energy.

This is more than music—it's a living cultural expression, blending ancestral Haitian spirit with modern soundscapes. The group will tour again in 2025.
