Tenzin Choegyal - Snow Flower (2025) [Hi-Res]

Tibetan musician Tenzin Choegyal has collaborated with multi-instrumentalists Matt Corby, Rohin Jones, and songwriter Alex Henriksson to create "Snow Flower", a seven-track album blending Tibetan spiritual traditions with contemporary musical elements. Produced at Rainbow Valley Studios in New South Wales, the album combines acoustic and electronic sounds with Buddhist mantras, offering a meditative experience. The title, Snow Flower (Khaway Metok), symbolizes impermanence and beauty, central themes in Choegyal’s work. Originally starting as an informal jam around the 432Hz healing frequency, the project evolved into a concept album reflecting phases of meditation. Tracks like "Snow Flower" and "Mountain" feature the traditional Tibetan lute, dranyen, harmonized with modern instruments and ambient sounds. The album is set for release on April 4, 2025. ​
