Paulo Novaes, LUIZGA, TXAI BAND - TXAI BAND (2024)

TXAI BAND is a collaborative music project uniting Paulo Novaes, Luiz Gabriel Lopes (aka LuizGa), and several Huni Kuin artists from Acre in the Amazon Forest, Brazil.

The project blends the traditional music and poetry of the Huni Kuin people with contemporary Brazilian and Western influences. More than just a musical endeavor, TXAI BAND represents a deep intercultural exchange and mutual respect.

The collaboration includes not only music but also a short documentary, highlighting the cultural and creative fusion between indigenous and modern artists.
