Pam Russo - A Girl Like Me (1989)

Some well-sung, teasing dance-pop in the Paula Abdul vein, although Russo has a much stronger, more distinctive voice than Abdul. What she didn't have was a major label operating a hype machine, and she also didn't get a hit from any of the material. It was a good try, however.
