Camille Prenant - Calyptus (2025)

After years of friendship and shared music in France, the Netherlands, and Denmark, friends Camille Prenant and Casper Christensen release their first album together!

Camille Prenant and Casper Christensen met in The Hague, the Netherlands, in 2019. They quickly became close and played together daily during their time in Holland.
Since then, they have maintained their friendship through music by traveling across Europe, exploring new musical horizons, sharing their influences, and experiencing some memorable adventures during their tours and travels together.

Each is forging their own path within their favorite scene—Camille in Paris and Casper in Copenhagen—and they meet up a few times a year to share experiences acquired along the way.

Calyptus is an album that confirms these exchanges between two musicians who have emerged in recent years as emerging talents in European jazz.

Friendship and musical collaboration bear fruit through this project.
Accompanied by Laurent Fradelizi and Philippe Soirat, essential sidemen of the Parisian scene, they combine influences ranging from hardbop to Brazilian choro.
