Karen y Los Remedios - Silencio Remixes (2025)

Karen y Los Remedios, the Mexican band blending cumbia, trip-hop, and downtempo, return with Silencio Remixes, a reimagined version of their 2023 debut album Silencio, released via ZZK Records. Fronted by Ana Karen Barajas, alongside producer Jiony and guitarist Guillermo Berbeyer, the group collaborates with a diverse lineup of artists from across Latin America and the U.S. for this remix collection.

Contributors include Grammy-winning Trooko (Honduras), acclaimed Mexican producers Dan Solo and Tonga Conga, Costa Rica’s Barzo, Dominican duo Estación Subtrópico, Real Suabidad (Mexico), and cumbia fusionists Orihuela M.S.S. and El Keamo. The remix album offers a fresh take on Silencio, blending electronic innovation with deep-rooted Latin rhythms and cultural diversity.
