A prolific young pianist with incomparable talent, winner of the Académie du Jazz’s 2016 Prix Django Reinhardt, Fred Nardin continues to be involved in a multitude of projects. Co-founder of the Amazing Keystone Big Band, he is one of the most sought-after sidemen of today’s Parisian scene, alongside Sophie Alour, Jon Boutellier, Gael Horellou, Jean Philippe Scali Hugo Lippi, and Cecile McLorin Salvant.
Fred Nardin is back in an exciting new formation, that of the trio. He has partnered with two exceptional musicians: the drummer Leon Parker, with whom he’s shared the stage for almost ten years, and the New York bassist Or Bareket. Their new album Look Ahead was released on March 1 on the Naïve label, and Opening came out on September 15, 2017, on the Jazz Family label.
