Kris Kinokewin - Pe Kiwan (2025)

Kris Kinokewin, also known as Christian Boivin, is a Canadian musician and songwriter from the Atikamekw Nation. He began his musical career in the 2000s as part of the family band Kinokewin and has since become a prominent figure in Quebec’s Indigenous music scene. His work blends contemporary sensitivity with deep respect for Indigenous heritage.

On April 11, 2025, he released his second solo album Pe Kiwan under the Manito Productions label. The album features ten tracks that explore themes of language, memory, and emotion, bridging the past and the present. The previously released singles “Ekote Aci” and “Kiapatc” received praise for their poetic and emotional depth.
