Armando Alberto Sciascia (1920–2017) was an Italian violinist, composer, conductor, and record producer, renowned for his contributions to film music, easy listening, and library music. Born in Lanciano, Italy, he graduated in violin and composition from the Conservatory of Pesaro. In 1962, he founded the Vedette record label in Milan, which became influential in Italian music, promoting artists like Equipe 84 and Pooh. Sciascia composed numerous film scores, including for "Metempsyco" (1963) and "Per un dollaro a Tucson si muore" (1966). He also produced a vast array of library music, often under pseudonyms such as H. Tical and Pantros.
