Originally formed in New York in 2013, the group began as a DIY, house-show collective exploring honest musical expression. After relocating to Maine in 2015, the artist rebuilt their musical and personal foundation, eventually finding a rich creative community. The album was born from a renewed desire to return to a larger ensemble format after years of more minimal work.

Musically shaped by a wide range of influences, the project seeks balance and emotional truth over rigid ideology. The record represents an ongoing effort to weave diverse inputs into a coherent, personal musical language. Gratitude is extended to long-time and new collaborators, supporters, and technical contributors, all of whom helped bring this vision to life.
