For over a decade, Williams has consistently been one of the most acclaimed and versatile bassists in contemporary jazz.

Ben Williams' album Between Church & State, released on May 2, 2025, is a profound musical and visual exploration of African American identity, spirituality, and political heritage. The project blends jazz, soul, R&B, hip-hop, and gospel, reflecting Williams' personal story and family roots.
