Grabek - Wonderfully Archaic (2025)

It all started with an old photograph of a little boy, posing in the garden, holding a wooden toy rifle in his hand. The picture was dated September 22, 1933. My Father, born 1928, rarely talked about his childhood and adolescence, and I was never curious enough to really press him about it. In retrospect, I wish I had been. Thus, my Father’s early years became a mystery book, filled with blank pages, question marks and occasional words such as war, fear, pain and loss. 'Wonderfully Archaic' is just one of the untold chapters from my late Father’s mystery book.
