The project consists of 9 original pieces signed by Arisi himself, born from the connection between fragments, ideas and melodies very different from each other that here are rethought in a new compositional and emotional synthesis that ranges from classical to improvised. The album takes its title and conceptual inspiration from the "Geodesics“, which in geometry are the shortest lines that connect two points, represented on the cover by the concrete work” Connessi@ni" by the artist Liber Vittorio Venturini.

"Geodesics are the shortest lines that connect two points of a surface. Not only geometric lines but also emotional paths that inevitably connect people in a state of mutual listening. There are geodesics that exploit Art to establish connections, thus succeeding in elevating individuals, both spiritually and intellectually. Art thus becomes a tool and leads us to the search for the true essence of things by connecting ourselves with the world and our emotions. A set of fragments, ideas and melodies written in different times and in different ways are rethought and reassembled to give life to new colors, new emotions and new synthesis. Improvised music is connected to elements of classical music, counterpoint, modal music, crossing various sound rooms, to look for new compositional tiles and musical kaleidoscopes. For the cover I chose the artistic work "Connessi@ni", a creation by my friend Liber Vittorio Venturini, characterized by traits strongly similar to“Geodesics". Fabio Arisi

"Connessioni @ ni is a work (polymathic made with backs of books cut and glued on each other) that is inspired by books and their function as containers of stories, information, dreams, ideas... each of us is also. Connected @ ni to remind us that we are all connected to each other and our personal stories are in constant relationship with those of others: in this social dimension we recognize ourselves and our identity is recognized. The three-dimensional network generated by the overlapping of paper elements also wants to make us reflect on the very structure of our being together and of human history not as a linear element, but three-dimensional: our small stories together form one great story. In the title there is an ironic provocation that recalls the connection to the virtual network: social networks and the metaverse. Experiences that increasingly replace the “true " relationships made in the presence, with the illusion that they can be enough to satisfy us; the books, of which the work consists, are analogical objects, which bring back to the real world and to a certain way of communicating, of being together, of sharing experiences made of the connection of bodies and consciences contained in them."Liber Vittorio Venturini
