Oblaka - S.O.O.S. | Shores of Old Sentiments (2025)

Ladislav Zensor (Oblaka, Exhausted Modern) returns to YUKU with S.O.O.S | Shores of Old Sentiments, a deeply personal journey through memory and time. Following his previous EP, Petrichor Memories, and his 2022 debut album, HACE, this record is both a continuation and a return. While Petrichor Memories reflects childhood moments in a city housing estate, S.O.O.S. flows into the Czech countryside. The album takes its name from SOOS, a volcanic region in western Bohemia. Once alive with bubbling streams and the sharp scent of sulfur, it now stands largely still, a fitting parallel to the shifting textures and disintegrating structures within these tracks. Flickering synths, arrhythmic percussion, and echoes of the past weave together, blurring the edges of time and place. Closing the album are two special collaborations: Baryt with Moroccan sound designer Disektor and Temporal Echoes with Egyptian/Prague-based multidisciplinary artist Qow.
