Ziya Tabassian, Hossein Omoumi, Kiya Tabassian - Ateş-i Aşk (2016)

This album is a deep immersion into classical Persian music, blending traditional forms such as Daramad and Pishdaramad with poetic elements, including the recitation of verses by Mawlana Rumi and Attar. Pieces like Fire of Love and Tasnif (Mast-e Mast) reflect the richness and spiritual depth of the Persian musical tradition.

The musicians involved in the project are renowned masters of their craft:

Ziya Tabassian – a virtuoso of the tombak (Persian drum) and co-founder of the ensemble Constantinople.

Kiya Tabassian – a setar player (a Persian string instrument), composer, and artistic director of the Constantinople ensemble.

Hossein Omoumi – a master of the ney (Persian flute) and vocalist, known for his interpretations of spiritual Persian music.
