A three-instrument duo reimagines Djazia Satour’s repertoire and brings her new songs to life. The singer’s voice and Pierre-Luc Jamain’s piano intertwine with emotional sensitivity, daring the most delicate improvisations. Unexpectedly, the rhythmic pulse of the bendir adds a haunting heartbeat to the compositions.

This ensemble was built for the stage, set against a nocturnal backdrop suited to intimate confessions on themes whose expression in Arabic evokes nostalgia and echoes the world’s unrest. Under the glow of radiant stars, a new musical universe emerges. The bendir and piano unite in a previously unexplored register. Going beyond the conventional piano-voice duo aesthetic, the two artists create a sonic space where all timbres resonate in a shifting balance—a sound that defies categorization, born from subtle intuition and meticulous experimentation.
