Recorded over the summer of 2024, in Jim's home studio Jim played all the instruments on the recording (apart from pedal steel by Mike Davies on ‘Heaven Help Me’ and viola by Neil Valentine on ‘Just Before The Dawn’) and produced the album himself in his home studio.

The albums lyrics tell of overcoming complex life challenges, of re-emerging, renewed and restored, of understanding and learning to love yourself in spite of your short comings and flaws, in grounding yourself in serenity when all around is in storm and chaos and of standing firm when faced with the hurricanes of lived experience.
