My Goddess is a deeply intimate and cinematic album by Etyen, exploring themes of grief, depression, healing, and the persistent human search for beauty amid hardship. Created during Lebanon’s ongoing political and economic crisis, the album intertwines personal loss—including the death of Etyen’s beloved cat—with collective trauma.

Spanning nine emotionally charged tracks, My Goddess is described by Etyen as a personal conversation, reflecting on pain while holding on to what is gentle and divine. The music blends cinematic soundscapes, minimalist melodies, and Etyen’s signature electronic production, creating a sound that’s both fragile and resilient. Compared to his 2022 debut Untitled, this record is more distilled and emotionally immediate—a quiet, powerful meditation on memory, absence, and the hope that persists through art.
