Chiva Rumbera - Ida y Vuelta (2025)

The first album by Chiva Rumbera included half covers of cumbia standards and half original compositions, but this second album will feature only original tracks (11 in total) in the style of traditional South American cumbia orchestras from the 1950s–60s.

Chiva Rumbera now aims to capture that unique energy and sound through a high-quality recording. Recording 9 musicians using only acoustic instruments is no easy task. That’s why we are seeking financial support to pay the entire artistic and technical team. Most of the tracks will be instrumentals, except for one song, which will be sung in Spanish.
