Melbourne Ska Orchestra - The Ballad Of Monte Loco (2025) [Hi-Res]

The Ballad of Monte Loco is the new concept album from Melbourne Ska Orchestra, set for release on June 27, 2025. Blending ska, dub, reggae, and the cinematic flair of a spaghetti western, the band creates a fictional world where rhythm is a form of resistance and music brings people together. The album features 13 tracks with rich arrangements, whip cracks, bells, and a sweeping, cinematic mood.

The lead single “Bom Bom Bom” is a rhythmic call-to-arms, while “Walls of Jericho” delivers a bold anti-war statement. Vocalist and producer Nicky Bomba leads the orchestra through an emotional and sonic epic. A world tour in support of the album will launch this fall.
