Mexican producer Niño Árbol presents Psiconomimesis, a deeply personal album that navigates between experimental techno, IDM, cerebral polyrhythms, and a touch of ambient sensibility. Composed of nine tracks that unfold like shifting states of consciousness, the album marks a turning point in the artist’s trajectory — a release guided not by concept, but by intuition, emotional drift, and internal noise.
The title — an invented word that fuses psyche (mind), nomo (movement), and mimesis (imitation) — defines its intention: to make the flow of the mind audible without needing to explain it. More than a linear narrative, Psiconomimesis acts as a topography of thought, where each track serves as a sensory station in a process of self-dissolution, expanded perception, and the reclaiming of identity.
From the vocal abstraction of "Psiconomimesis" to the contained pressure of "El cielo pesa más hoy" (“The sky weighs more today”), through mantric pieces like "Autodisolución" and synthetic landscapes that feel like floating in a soft, iridescent cloud such as "Manto", the album moves between the raw and the enveloping, the physical and the internal, always anchored by a precise yet deeply emotional rhythmic sensitivity.
Psiconomimesis offers no answers. It avoids traditional narrative structures. It is a work that inhabits the edge between the cerebral and the somatic, allowing sound to function as mirror, conduit, and refuge.
The album will be available on June 30, 2025, across all digital platforms, with a special edition on Bandcamp, accompanied by visual material and curatorial texts by the artist himself.
