After twenty years since my last album, I'm thrilled to present EVERYTHING THAT IS NOT COUNTED WILL BE LOST. The record emerged from hours of spontaneous improvisations with various musical machine constellations, where I captured "happy accidents" that evolved into carefully structured arrangements.
Several remarkable artists collaborated to shape this album. STURM (Jan Sturm) contributed his distinctive touch to "Fragments of Light," while "We Dance in the Chaos" emerged from a collaboration with Landobe (Marco Heinle) and features Patrick Siegfried Zimmer's powerful vocals. Luca di Mira enriched the album with his production skills, cello arrangements, and synth textures, while Johannes Schardt's guitar work infused the sound with the raw, post-rock energy I had envisioned.
My goal with this album was to take listeners on a journey through diverse sonic landscapes. It reflects our complex times, where experimental ambient soundscapes merge with heavy guitars and minimal techno pulses—and where dancing in the chaos feels like a fitting response. I hope this album resonates with you as deeply as it does with me.
