Jessie Lee & The Alchemists - Legacy (2025)

Jessie Lee & the Alchemists return with a third studio album, entitled Legacy, in which they express their entire musical palette.
For those who have only been following the album casually, the case is clear: Jessie Lee & the Alchemists are into the blues. Certainly, like the apple in certain stomach-churning concoctions, even among uncles, there's some in there. However, it's a matter of broadening the range of certainties, just as the band has continually expanded the range of possibilities.

While it may not be their intention, Legacy is a showcase of everything the band is capable of producing, veering into soul or rhythm 'n' blues here, knocking on the door of the Allman Brothers and their ilk's rehearsal studio, when they're not trying their hand at jazz combos or reawakening memories of Grease with a cover of "You're the One That I Want," which quickly departs into other horizons. But without ever... the house alchemy getting lost or straying. Quite the opposite, in fact.
