Danish soul/funk orchestra formed in 1989.
Once again Ridin' Thumb have succeeded in creating a unique music universe. The style remains clear-cut, assertive soul-funk seasoned with jazzy riffs and hardcore rap. But this time the repertoire covers a wider field, and there is room for both funky disco vibes and latino grooves.
In addition to singer Jonas Winge Leisner other new young talents have joined the band: Jamaican-born rapper Shaka J. participates in a unique teamwork with the 12-man band, and 21-year-old Martin Pedersen joins on scratch.
