Rock band from Kansas City, Missouri, USA (1977-1984).
Missouri never really made it big like some of the other midwestern/southern rock bands. Many midwestern bands play a style very close to southern rock, with groups like Head East and Mama's Pride (and some of REO Speedwagon's older stuff) heading up the pack.
It is unfortunate that Missouri didn't make it as big as some of the other bands, their music was certainly up to the challenge, with things like "I Really Love You", "I'm Going Home", "So Far Away" and "Sunshine Girl" really showing the quality of their music, plus their one hit that did make it big, "Movin' On". If you want to find some classic southern/midwest rock that maybe you might have missed out on, definitely pick up this album, you won't be disappointed. If you like some of the previously mentioned groups, you'll like this one.
