Amulet is a Finnish and English-language rock band from Lahti, Finland, which was at its peak in the mid-1970s. It was founded by Pekka (vocals, drums) and Pertti Sormunen (bass, vocals) in 1968, when their first single, recorded at the Microvox studio, was released. The early line-up also included Hannu Helminen (guitar, later replaced by Heikki Hiiri) and Wallu Heinomaa (vocals, guitar). The band's best-known song is "Suomen Chicago" (1976), dedicated to their hometown.
Amulet occasionally toured in the 2000s with the line-up of Heinomaa, Hiiri, Helminen, and Pekka and Pertti Sormunen. The band's frontman Pekka Sormunen died in September 2010.
