The first-ever vinyl reissue of Tribal Dance, the 1977 album by Black Jazz label icon and bassist Henry Franklin, is now available. Featuring saxophonist Charles Owens, trombonist Al Hall, Jr., guitarist Kenneth Climax, and West Coast jazz greats like percussionist Sonship and pianist Dwight Dickerson, the album captures a powerful moment in spiritual and progressive jazz. The VMP exclusive edition is limited to 500 copies, pressed on Opaque Red vinyl by Gotta Groove Records, and housed in a gatefold, foil-stamped, and numbered jacket.
